The 67th annual Grammy Awards which took place on February 2, 2025 were held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, about one month after the deadly Southern California wildfires devastated major parts of the city and displaced thousands of L.A. residents. But the show had to go on: per Variety, the Grammys has “an estimated impact on the local economy of around $200 million.” The tone has been adjusted to recognize the tragedy while also offer more opportunities for raising fire relief funds and a sense of unity through music.
